As high school cross-country gets into full swing, Bill Kenley, Indiana author of 2015 release “High School Runner (Freshman),” visits Runners Forum in Carmel, Ind., for a reading, discussion and book signing. Snacks and refreshments will be served, while supplies last.

EVENT SUMMARY: This event is geared toward young adult readers and runners, but anyone is welcome. Using his young adult novel “High School Runner (Freshman)” and fictional cross-country runner Sherman Kindle, teacher and runner Kenley connects with young men and women through stories that entertain and inspire.

On Sept. 2, he will read from the book and discuss how Sherman Kindle comes to understand himself through running and how the goals we set for ourselves define us.
